Goat Funded Trader Review 2026: Instant Funding

PropFirmNova Research DeskOctober 12, 20265 min read

What Goat Funded Trader is

Goat Funded Trader (GFT) is a forex and CFD prop firm that runs challenge and instant-funded accounts on MetaTrader 5. The firm says it has an official MT5 integration on its own broker infrastructure.

  • Company: Wishes Tower International Limited (Hong Kong), with a Saint Lucia sister entity
  • Regulation: none
  • Account sizes: $2,500 to $400,000
  • Models: 1-Step, 2-Step, 3-Step and Instant
  • Profit split: 80% base, up to 100% with a paid add-on

It is the forex sister of GOAT Funded Futures, the futures prop firm under the same brand. Full scoring is in our Goat Funded Trader review.

Instant funding: what the firm says it offers

The firm says its Instant accounts start at $17 and calls this the cheapest instant funding in the industry.

We can't confirm “cheapest”. The lowest entry fee we have recorded for the firm is $36, and we have not matched it to one Instant account, so check the price of the exact account you want.

  • Instant HERO: described by the firm as its most affordable instant account
  • Instant Premium Plan: described by the firm as having no consistency rule

What is a consistency rule? It limits how much of your total profit can come from a single trading day, and it is usually checked when you request a payout. A plan without one, if it works as described, removes one thing to trip over.

Other firms on our list also offer accounts with lighter rules. Compare plan-level terms side by side on our Compare page instead of relying on a headline.

How entry prices compare

If you want an instant funding prop firm on a small budget, price is the first filter. This table shows the lowest listed entry fee for firms in our rankings that offer an Instant account.

MT5, other platforms and the dashboard

MT5 is the headline. Our review also lists TradeLocker, Match-Trader and cTrader.

The firm says it built its own trader dashboard with backtesting and advanced trading statistics. We have not tested it ourselves, so look at what is available before you pay.

Track record: what the firm says and what we found

The firm says it has served 1M+ traders and paid out nearly $30M. Third-party trackers we checked put reported payouts at roughly $11M or more. The figures differ and we could not verify either one.

On payouts, the firm states a bi-weekly cycle, about two business days to process, and a guarantee of two days or an extra $1,000.

Trustpilot currently shows no star rating: it withdrew the rating for a breach of its guidelines and says it removed a number of fake reviews. Of the 4,350 reviews left, roughly 46% are five-star and 40% are one-star. The complaints that repeat:

  • Payouts denied over alleged copy trading or similar entries
  • Profits voided on trades under about two minutes
  • Profit caps around news and on a single day
  • Rules that differ by account model
  • Slow or templated support replies, and delays at identity checks and live interviews

We found no lawsuits or regulatory action. The firm replies to many negative reviews, asks traders to contact its support or risk team, and rejects claims that it is a scam.

Discount code GFT45

The firm's brief lists the code GFT45 for 45% off all challenges. Enter it at checkout and confirm the percentage in your cart before you pay, because codes and sales change and may not apply to every account.

Every code we hold is on our offers page.

Who it may suit, and what to check first

It may suit traders who want a low-cost instant account on MT5 and read the rules for their exact model first. It is a weaker fit if you want a long, independently reviewed payout record.

Before you buy:

  1. Read the rules for your exact model. Daily loss and drawdown figures differ between the headline offer and the Standard 2-Step.
  2. Check the minimum trade hold time and the news-period limits.
  3. Confirm whether your plan has a consistency rule.
  4. Start with the smallest account and test the payout process early.
